On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, a seminar on the challenges and solutions of patient-centered diabetes management was held in Iran by the Gabriek Diabetes Association. The seminar, focusing on collaborative discussions regarding the challenges of diabetes management, strategies to improve skills, and enhancing specialists’ knowledge about diabetes updates, took place.

In the panel discussion of this program, representatives from the Food and Drug Administration, Deputy Ministers of Health and Treatment from the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, and a representative from basic insurances discussed and examined the role of social determinants of health in diabetes management.
