Yalda Night or Chelleh Night is one of the ancient and traditional celebrations in our Iranian culture. It is celebrated on the last day of autumn and marks the longest night of the year. The name Yalda is derived from the root word “Yal” or “Al” which means brightness, light, and sun. As we gather with our loved ones on this night, we eat watermelon and pomegranate, read Hafez’s divination, and recite Shahnameh.
This celebration was organized by the various teams of Hitco Holding to commemorate the arrival of the first moments of winter. It was a good opportunity to strengthen unity and solidarity among the members of Hitco Holding and bring memorable moments for the employees.
We hope that Yalda Night is a good and memorable night for all the dear members of Hitco Holding, colleagues, and fellow citizens of our country.
