This fruitful cooperation and latter partnership, was fulfilled with practical treasured experiences captured by Mr. Jamshid Babaie from the well-reputed entrepreneur, Mr. Khosroshahi.
Mr. Jamshid Babaie, in line with reaching to his thriving goals, after a period of 4 successful years in Tolid Darou and leaving behind a cherished touch, joined the Don Baxter international firm (Today is known as the “Iranian Intravenous Injectable Solutions”).
Given the rich experience and the knowledge of Mr. Babaie in manufacturing and distributing of injection serums, he launched a dialogue with HOECHST AG. He managed to persuade the giant corporate to enter in Iran market, and given that a developed and equipped production site was already in place, the German side agreed to even transfer the know-how. The German company found the facilities impressive and was encouraged to invest.
Between the years 1970 to late 1980, HOECHST AG became the market leader, supporting millions of Iranian patients, as a result of remarkable efforts and expertise of Mr. Babaie. Regretfully, the chapter of HOECHST AG was closed in the country, as a result of the devastating battle, imposed by Iraq which took close to 8 years.
In 1981, Jamshid Babaie recommenced his business affairs, as a dynamic member of the Iranian healthcare society, by founding two healthcare oriented firms, Aradco and Shiraz Health. These affairs enriched HITCO Holding history. These two firms acted as the exclusive representative of German Lawton products, as well as supplying surgical sutures, tools, and a wide range of disposables.
This setup sustained till 1997, after which, in line with policies of supporting local production in the country, Mr. Jamshid Babaie eagerly chased his career in Varian Teb Company. Varian Teb used to provide quality monofilament and multifilament surgical sutures.
Varian Teb continued to expand till 2001 by the leadership of Jamshid Babaie and consequently merged with Teb Novin Group of companies that used to actively work with universities, seeking innovative solutions.
In 2005, Mr. Jamshid Babaie, after ensuring that adequate skills, knowledge, as well as a patient oriented mindset, all have been professed by his son, Ali Bababie, encouraged him to join the company.
It did not take a long time for Mr. Ali Babaie, to signify his impact. He managed to enhance the revenue considerably and turned into the best performer of the company, during the first year.
Accordingly, Mr. Jamshid Babaie, allocated the full responsibility of the organization to Ali Babaie, and since he has been pursuing the prosperous path of Jamshid Babaie, and while leading the company, in parallel, managed to become proficient at several areas such finance, marketing, business operation and negotiation techniques.
He successfully negotiated with mega firms such as 3M, Teleflex and HatMann and turned into the official scientific representative of a certain ranges of products. In terms of founding, he established distributors such as Teb Novin and Momtaz.
In 2010, Mr. Ali Babaie made the decision to continue his journey, individually. Hence, left the Iran Pharmis Group, and established a new corporate call Health Investment Company (HITCO Group), which today represents well known brands, such as G.U.M, Pelz Grpup of Germany and multiple pharmaceutical premium international companies.
The HITCO Group, by an agile and to some extent intensive expansion plans, seems to be family with 28 subsidiaries.
